“Affordable Golf” Pro Scott Catlin managed to tame a very windy Dundonald Links today with a very writable par 72. Blustery conditions with gusts up to 25mph resulted in high scoring throughout the Pro and Amateur ranks. Local boy Jack MacDonald finished two shots behind Catlin with a 2 over par 74 with Ian Graham (Crow Wood) and Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) both on 74.

Due to the strong winds the decision was made to make today a Stableford competition. 41 brave souls started with far less finishing the 18 holes.

Bothwell Castle’s Brian Douglas playing of handicap of 18 won the NE-ERDAY TROPHY with 34 points after a count back with Trump Turnberry’s Adrian Orton. Inellan member David Cooper took third spot with 32 points.
